We collect the following types of information: (a) Account information — name, email address, password, and business details you provide during signup; (b) Business data — quotes, invoices, contracts, and client information you create and store in the platform; (c) Payment information — billing details processed securely by Stripe. Autovex does not store your full credit card details; (d) Usage data — how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration; (e) Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers; (f) Communications — emails or messages you send to our support team.
We use your information to: provide and improve the Autovex platform; process payments and manage your subscription; send transactional emails (welcome, trial notices, payment confirmations); respond to support requests; analyse usage to improve features; comply with legal obligations; and prevent fraud and ensure platform security.
Autovex uses the Anthropic Claude AI to generate quotes, invoices, and contracts. When you use AI generation features, the content you input (job details, client information, amounts) is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We minimise the data sent and do not send sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for document generation.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: (a) Stripe — for payment processing; (b) Anthropic — for AI document generation; (c) Google — for authentication (if you use Google sign-in) and email services; (d) Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect our legal rights; (e) Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after account closure for legal and business purposes.
Under the Australian Privacy Act you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements); opt out of marketing communications; and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Autovex uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse platform usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect platform functionality.
We may send you product updates and promotional emails. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contacting support@autovex.com.au. Transactional emails (receipts, trial notices) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
Autovex is not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
The platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
